If we can survive current and imminent threats and imagine a hundred, thousand, or five thousand years in the future. A future where 3D printers, printing buildings and organs and self-replicating printers evolve into self replicating cities that reproduce by mining their own materials from the earth. Errors in the replication process will produce mutations the same way DNA changes, some mutations will become useful and these buildings will adapt to their environment. Buildings may grow into cities and metropolises. Meanwhile humans are editing their genes and replacing biological organs with super-intelligent, 3D printed organs, muscles and brains. After their minds have become transcribed digitally they can be imported into any computer controlled system. It is in this era humans can become autonomous computers, controlling buildings, and cities with power beyond anything we've seen.
